Covering the Democratic National Convention, 2016

When it was announced the Democratic National Convention would be in Philadelphia, I was ecstatic. It would be a chance for me to cover a big event. Although I was freelancing for PhillyVoice.com, I did not have a press pass. However, with as many as 50,000 protestors expected every day in FDR Park, I knew that there would be news outside the actual convention. For me, this was an event with national attention and a way for me to maybe get some more exposure. Below you can find my articles for PhillyVoice leading up to the convention, my tweets and Periscope broadcasts, my social media statistics, and some of my best pictures.
